Northern lights in all 4 corners of France

For more than a year, intense solar activity offered many opportunities to observe the Northern Lights in the French sky, notably through Skaping webcams.

On the night of May 10-11, 2024, this phenomenon reached an intensity not seen for twenty years. The Skaping webcam network was overwhelmed by a flood of cosmic radiation, capturing hundreds of images of the northern lights from the north to the south of France.

Hues ranging from red to green lit up the sky, providing breathtaking images.
